Land borders

Land border use requires extra attention because road and pedestrian checkpoints can change operating status.

Common land directions include Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Georgia, China and Mongolia.

Verkhny Lars, Zabaikalsk, Kyakhta and Kaliningrad checkpoints are examples of important land routes.

The visa must be valid on the date of crossing and the checkpoint must be approved for e-Visa.
